The Theme of the 2012 Parade is " Mullingar - Alive and Kicking"
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best overall Entry, Best commercial entry, Best community entry, Best entry in the theme. Prizes will also be awarded for Best Band, Best youth entry, Most colourful entry, Best Float with no visible wheels and Most entertaining entry.
The judges will be empowered to make additional awards in any category or not to make an award in a particular category. Winners will be announced on the day and presentations of prizes will take place at a function on a later date.
