An estimate in excess of 32,000  people lined the streets of Mullingar on a fabulous sunny St Patricks Day to enjoy the greatest "Free" family day out compliments of the Mullingar St Patricks Day Parade Committee.  View collections of photos from the parade in our gallery section of this website and capture the  uplifting experience enjoyed by so many.

With fantastic assistance from Mullingar Gardai, Civil Defence,  Order of Malta and many volunteers, the committee ensured the whole event was both timely and very enjoyable for all who attended.

Keep up to date with Fund raising events - details at the bottom of this page

Thanks to fabulous efforts by all entrants - both voluntary and business - the extremely large crowds who attended the Mullingar St Patricks Parade were very well entertained as the parade took over 1 hour to pass from Bridge to Bridge - It is estimated that over 30,000 people lined the streets of Mullingar for this fabulous festive occasion.

Every year the businesses and people of Mullingar and environs have come up trumps with contributions to make this event possible.  We appeal to one and all to help us by making your contribution - no matter how big or small.  All our committee members give their time and effort completely free, so your contribution goes straight to maximising a great festive atmosphere on the day.  Please help in any way you can.  To donate please select "Supporters" from the menu bar of this site, where you will find full details on how to donate.
